nfluencer marketing is a crazy world that never seems to stop evolving. From YouTube stars to Instagram models, there is no shortage of social media “celebrities”. Despite all of these opportunities to showcase a brand or product, finding new ways to get new consumers remains competitive for businesses. While influencers, like the Kardashians, have lots of eyes on them, the huge size of their fan base keeps them from truly connecting with their audiences. Micro-influencers, which are influencers in niche markets with smaller audiences, are on the rise in the next wave of influencer marketing. So, what is a micro-influencer anyway?
Are you an online service based provider or a small business owner?
Do you struggle with finding quality leads for your business?
Perhaps your wondering and thinking - 'There has to be a better way'!
In my experience, clients that are ready to outsource their marketing do so because they:
- are struggling to keep up with their marketing tasks by continuously trying to DIY
- don't know the best strategies and don't care to learn them
- aren't tech savvy, loathe sales + marketing, and social media overwhelms them
Do these sound like you too?
For starters, let's talk about what the difference is between a Facebook page and a Facebook group. A Facebook page can also be called a Fan Page, Like Page or Business Page. A Page is essentially your online proof that your business exists because it serves as an official profile. Much like your virtual "home." Also, a business can't have a Facebook page without a personal Facebook profile. A page is about making connections on Facebook and is not limited to your friend list. Essentially, it increases the potential of non-friends (aka "cold prospects") to find and follow you online.
A Facebook page is reserved for businesses, public figures, brands or products, communities, organizations and other entities to create a public presence on online. Unlike your personal Facebook profile, a Facebook page is visible to everyone online automatically by default. Which means, you, and every other person on Facebook can connect with a Facebook page by becoming a fan to receive their updates in their newsfeed. By connecting, you're building the know, like, and trust factor with your followers on your page.
A Facebook group is slightly different. Facebook groups are the place to be to communicate with other people who share common interests and express the same opinions as you. They allow people to virtually come together as a community around a common cause, issue or activity, to discuss issues, post photos or other relevant content, and share related content from online. A group is a "small town" community.
Do you struggle to get engagement on your Facebook Page?
Are you tired of having like zero people seeing your content?
Girl, I totally feel you!
It totally stinks when you put all of your hard work and efforts into creating content and sharing it on social media, only to hear crickets and have a small percentage of your following actually see. It's so frustrating! Which is why I want to share with you, my 10 ways to organically boost the reach of your posts on your Facebook Page.
Now before I dive in, I want to make something clear. Please don't get hung up on a number of page likes or followers that you have. Yes having 20k following you gives you an air of credibility and in time you'll get there. However, I want you to focus on the quality of your followers. Are they your ICA? Do they engage regularly? Do they buy from you?
If your following is small but mighty, then great! I personally would rather you have a smaller but engaged following that is your tribe of people rather than to have 20k people that don't have a rats patoot about what you do or how you can help. Makes sense, right? Therefore, love and nurture your following from the start when so that they stay loyal and true to you. In return, they'll recommend you and your page to their network.
Are you an online business owner? If so, are you utilizing Instagram to build your online business? If not, why the heck not?

- 25% of 30-49 year olds use Instagram
- 29% of online females use Instagram
- 22% of online males use Instagram

- Use hashtags to find popular posts or particular people to follow.
